Ones To Watch
Ones To Watch
Ones To Watch is a professional development and mentoring program for early-career screen producers looking to accelerate their screen business acumen to the next level.
Over the coming months, the Ones To Watch cohort will be matched with a leading Australian producer for 1-on-1 mentoring and will take part in an exclusive webinar series to develop their creative slate and business skills in the lead up to SCREEN FOREVER.
We strongly encourage applications from First Nations producers and those whose voices and experiences are underrepresented in our industry. If you require any support in your application or feel the eligibility requirements are a barrier to you applying for this program, we would love you to contact us to discuss your involvement.
The 2025 Ones To Watch cohort will be eligible to apply for the Screen Placement, supported by Screen Australia and designed to facilitate hands-on engagement with a production or production company anywhere in the world.

Testimonials
"For me, The Ones To Watch means that I get a chance to meet with lots of wonderful people and to start to really develop my slate through a strategic lens and step into my power as a producer"
Rae Choi, Ones To Watch 2024
“The highlight has been the access to my mentor, who I think without the program I wouldn’t had a connection to… getting insights at their level and where they are positioned in the industry helps me see what’s ahead, see how to navigate it and where I want to go. What kind of projects to put my effort into? That’s pretty invaluable to have that direct access in such a quick way...”
Navid Bahadori, Ones To Watch 2024

“It’s all been a highlight, the entire thing so it’s sort of hard to single something out because you’ve got this great cohort and that is really incredible being able to build that connection and really looking at people that I can work with in the future, the people that I can connect with for the next 10 years, 20 years of my career has been fantastic. And also getting the introductions to the buyers, the producers, the people already doing what I want to do has been really really cool."
